Communities Thrive Organizational Project Grant

The Communities Thrive Organizational Project Grant supports small and mid-sized arts organizations in the production and presentation of artistic works accessible to the general public within the City of Baltimore. The grant supports the production of projects in the arts and culture disciplines of performing arts, media arts, visual arts, literary arts, and on-line arts projects. Applicants may apply for a $5,000 or $10,000 project for FY22 (defined as arts activities taking place in Baltimore City between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022).

Applications, available here, open on Monday, April 12 and are due by Friday, May 7, 2021.

The Communities Thrive Organizational Project Grant is made possible with the support of the Maryland State Arts Council.

The Communities Thrive Organizational Project Grant supports — in whole or in part — specific arts projects that demonstrate originality, vision and benefit or interest to the community. Submissions are evaluated and scored by a panel of independent arts and culture professionals, appointed through open nominations and serving for specific grant programs and cycles.
