The Janet & Walter Sondheim Art Prize awards $30,000 to a visual artist or visual artist collaborators living and working in the Baltimore region. Five finalists will be selected for the final review for the prize and their work exhibited in the Walters Art Museum.
Applications for the 2026 are open. The deadline is January 5, 2026. -

Free Fall Baltimore grant opportunity - a citywide celebration that offers hundreds of free arts & cultural events at participating venues throughout Baltimore City.

The Municipal Art Society of Baltimore City (MASB) Artist Travel Prize will award $7,000 to a visual artist or visual artist collaborators, living or working in Baltimore City. The $7,000 prize is intended to function as funding for travel essential to an artist’s studio practice that an artist may not otherwise be able to afford. Successful proposals will be selected from submissions that clearly articulate the artist’s reason for travel to the chosen destination and how it relates to their work.

The Community Arts Grant, produced by Create Baltimore, supports community-artist collaborative design & implementation of new, exterior wall mural projects sited in underserved communities of Baltimore City.
