The Municipal Art Society of Baltimore City (MASB) Artist Travel Prize will award $8,000 to a visual artist or visual artist collaborators, living or working in Baltimore City. The $8,000 prize is intended to function as funding for travel essential to an artist’s studio practice that an artist may not otherwise be able to afford. Proposals must clearly articulate the artist’s reason for travel to a specific destination and how this travel is essential to their studio practice. The Society’s focus will be on emerging artists.

Funding for individual artists and small nonprofits to offer free arts & cultural events to the public throughout Baltimore City during National Arts & Humanities Month.

The Janet & Walter Sondheim Art Prize awards $30,000 to a visual artist or visual artist collaborators living and working in the Baltimore region. Five finalists will be selected for the final review for the prize and their work exhibited in the Walters Art Museum.
